With growing competition, candidates are more incentivized than ever to lie on their résumés — over 40% of job seekers have admitted to it. We built Transparence at HawkHacks 2024 to make employment history verifiable instead of taken on faith.

How it works
Transparence gives current and past employees a simple interface to request verification of employment and achievements from their employers. When an employer confirms a request, an NFT is minted and sent to the requesting user's wallet — a portable, tamper-evident credential they can present on résumés and social platforms.
Results
Among 900+ participants and 160+ teams, Transparence won Best Use Case, with a $1,700 prize attached.
Built in 36 hours with Mevan Solanga, Sheldon Lewis, and Vansh Jain.
